Our Sensory Room is located in the Students’ Activities Hub and is available for all students to use. This bespoke space offers a calm, safe, and quiet environment designed to support students and staff with disabilities and mental health difficulties. The room may be particularly helpful for students who are neurodivergent or who experience anxiety, overwhelm, or sensory sensitivities.

Accessing the Sensory Room
You do not need to have declared a disability or provide a reason to access the Sensory Room. However, we strongly encourage students to contact our Disability Service to explore the range of support available through the University.
To use the Sensory Room, students must first register their interest. This allows access to the online booking system.
