Mental Health and Wellbeing Support

Wellbeing Buddies

Do you feel like you would benefit from having a wellbeing buddy? Connect@Bangor can connect students, with carefully selected students from the connect volunteering group, to be your wellbeing buddy. The buddies will support you as a friend and support with the social aspects of university life.

If you feel you would benefit from this scheme, please contact Gareth Williams: gareth.williams@undebbangor.com

Emotional Resilience Training

Emotional resilience is your ability to keep your mind calm in a stressful situation or crises and it is a major defence against clinical depression, anxiety and other common mental health issues. We have arranged emotional resilience training with Two Roads Charity, to help give you the skills you need to help deal with what life throws at you.
