I've noticed a tota lack of gender neutral bathrooms across the university. By not having these, a whole group of students are excluded, mainly those under the trans umbrella (non-binary, agender, gender non-conforming, etc) and this creates a level of discomfort and dysphoria when this is meant to be an inclusive learning environment. The university should have space for gender neutral toilets to have everyone feel included and not just force individual to pick a binary bathroom or the disabled bathroom.

Good idea
This would be really useful and sensible. for a university that prides itself on equality... it seems to have been lacking in this department mainly.
Plz honestly it will make so many people feel way more comfortable
Finally! I hate when the gender neutral bathroom (which is usually the disabled bathroom, but that's it's own issue) is taken and I have to misgender myself just to have a piss ๐.
It's scary having to decide which gender you pass the most as to avoid harrassment when you need to use the bathroom. Disabled toilets are a limited accessability, and lumping in queer people into that cuts into the availability of that for disabled people. (side tangent, anyone else find it mega demeaning and unhelpful that you need to ask for a key to use disabled toilets at train stations?)
