Calling all metalheads, punks, and people with tinnitus from listening to music TOO LOUD!

We are the Rock and Metal Society (RAMSoc)! We promote the live music scene in and around Bangor by organising our own events, and by showing up to support local musicians as often as we can. Keep an eye out for our gigs!!

We will organise other fun events, such as jam sessions and games nights, and conquering the mighty slopes of Yr Wyddfa in corpse paint! We are also aiming to produce a society zine where we can share members’ recommendations, reviews, writing and profiles of local bands. 

This is a society for anyone and everyone with an interest in ‘alternative’ music, whether you’re just beginning to explore or you’re an experienced holy diver of the darkest depths of bandcamp.  

So join us as we raise hell, the horns, and a pint in the name of live music!
