Hello, I'm Jake and I am obsessed with rural adventures, from trudging through peat bogs to scurrying up Welsh Rhyolite. My passion for the outdoors stems from my background in biology and geology; understanding how our great outdoors ticks really fascinates me. I joined UMWC in 2024 to continue this interest and as your Vice Captain I hope that you too can gain a similar appreciation for the natural world. I will decide the location of each weekly walk, and I would like to introduce a few lesser known walks to show people some of the unseen gems of Eryri.

Vice captains are the coordinators of the committee with half of their job being to make sure the Captain doesn’t cry.
