
Judo, which means "The Gentle Way", is a Japanese martial art and Olympic sport, which values efficiency and skill in order to allow opponents to be thrown using the least amount of physical strength necessary. The objectives in a contest are to throw or pin an opponent, or force them to submit with chokes or arm locks, however, entering competitions or sparring is optional and it's still a very satisfying martial art to learn.
Judo is one of the most popular sports worldwide, being both intellectually stimulating and an awesome cardio workout, and can be enjoyed by anyone, regardless of age, gender, fitness level, or ableness.
Sessions are run by a professional coach, licenced with British Judo Association, so you can be sure you will be learning everything you need to know about judo.
