Hi! Welcome to Women's Cricket and Club of the Year 23/24 !! 🏆
We are a mixed ability group, ranging from complete beginners to experienced players with one of our training captains being our own qualified coach! If you have never played cricket before or haven't played for several years don't worry! We are all very supportive, friendly and always willing to help. We aim to make cricket a fun and inviting environment where we can practice and improve our skills, unwind, and have a good laugh.
We take part in a range of activities during sessions such as fielding drills, bowling and batting practice, as well at net practices, and we even have an external coach attending our Sunday training. Last year (23/24 season) we took part in both indoor and outdoor BUCS (uni sport across the country), ensuring we had competitive competitions running thoughout the academic calendar, something we are looking forward to again this year.
We train twice a week and at least some of us always attend at AU Wednesdays, always having great fun on our social nights 😆. If you're looking for a welcoming and silly group of people then you've come to the right place.
If you have any questions please contact one of our committee members or send us a message on Instagram (@bangoruwcc)
We hope to see you down soon! 🏏🏏🏏🏏🏏🏏
