WEEN22

The Wales Ecology & Evolution Network is a student-run annual conference which aims to promote post-graduate research and create a networking platform for early-career scientists at Welsh Universities. WEEN22 will be held at the Centre for Alternative Technology (Powys, Mid Wales) the weekend 25th – 27th November 2022. The conference will include talk and poster sessions, keynote sessions, a pub quiz, a grounds tour of CAT and social events. We hope our broad theme of ecology and evolution relates to many working in biosciences and encourages participants from diverse subject fields.

There is a registration fee of £60 if you are staying in the WISE building, and £40 if you are staying in the cabins or self-build accommodation.

The registration fee covers accommodation and meals. For more information on available accommodation options click here. Please note all rooms in the WISE building are twin rooms, and the cabins and self-build are dorm-style rooms. Therefore, room sharing ensures there are sufficient rooms for everyone. However, if you are not comfortable sharing a room, please let us know. If you know someone else attending and would like to share with them, please give their name in the Microsoft form so we know who to pair you with.

If you would like to attend, please fill in the Microsoft form to confirm your attendance and accommodation type, submit your abstract and indicate if you would like to carshare. You may then purchase your ticket

Please also indicate in this form whether you want to carshare.

Registration for this event will close on the 14th of November 2022.

If you have any questions, our committee members will be happy to help!

We look forward to seeing you in November!

Travel costs are not included; however, committee members will arrange for car-pools from each University as necessary.
