Soft Plastics are lightweight plastics that often cannot be placed in general plastic recycling bins. These can include crisp packets, pasta bags and biscuit wrappers. There is so much preventable waste which can easily be recycled and not thrown into landfill if students are given adequate resources to do so.

The University should offer soft plastic recyling near all:

- catering options

- vending machines

- student study spaces

- halls of residence
