Intro to Undeb Bangor

Undeb Bangor is your Students' Union and we are here to make your student experience as best as it can be.

We have a team of dedicated elected Sabbatical Officers (Sabbs) who work to ensure your voice is heard and that the kind of activities that are needed are being developed. Supporting the Sabbatical Officers are the Students’ Union professional staff, an experienced team supporting the delivery of campaigns and enacting the policies of the Sabbs, working together with the University to better the student experience of all students!

We've created a quick guide to our main departments and some of their highlights. If any of this looks good you can find out more through our main website pages or connect with us through social media

Volunteering

Over the years, we have set up an incredible 60+ volunteering projects for students to get involved with, as Project Leaders or volunteers. Over half of these are currently active and have continued over the pandemic, carrying out great work to support the local community and environment. We are proud to say that the majority of our projects are student-led with 500+ students taking part in volunteering activities just last year! We guarantee we have something for you, with projects ranging across 8 key themes: environmental, community, elderly, kids, sports, campaigns and events, mental health and fundraising.

Student Voice

Student Voice is exactly that; it's the part of the Union that acts as a loud voice for the students and represents each student on matters that are important to them. Whether that's making sure that you're listened to by the University on academic topics, or helping you run campaigns that you're passionate about. There are many aspects to Student Voice, and below are just a few things we offer.
