Food Waste Bins in All Student Study and Living Spaces!

Food bins should be provided in all student study and living spaces. Food waste sent to landfill rots and releases methane (a greenhouse gas more powerful then carbon dioxide), so food waste needs to be seperated from general waste and disposed of in specific ways to prevent this. The University is not offering students the choice to dispose of food waste in a harmless way and needs to offer food waste bins in all:

- Student living spaces

- Student study spaces

- Next to every vending machine
