Work with us!
Ahoy there maties!
My name is Arwen, a second year Marine Biology and Oceanography student and treasurer for Endeavour (the best society). Being on committee, I can’t wait to contribute to making the society as welcoming, fun and interesting as I found it in my first year.
What do I enjoy?
- Endeavour!
- Being creative and making new things
- Being outdoors (hiking, kayaking, rockpooling, just generally being in nature)
- Reading (mostly marine science books)
- Coasting with the motion of the ocean
Favorite marine animal:
I don’t have one, they’re all so cool in their own way! But if I had to choose, else walk the plank, I think I would say the Dumbo Octopus (Grimpoteuthis).
Although my role is treasurer, I aim to contribute more to society. Another thing you should know is that I’m quite a waffler! So, if you see me around don’t hesitate to say hello, or if you have any questions about anything I’d be more than happy to try and help!
