Secretary

My name is Charlie, I’m currently first year marine biology with zoology and I’m taking on the role of secretary this year.

I’m in my first year which means I’ll have plenty of time to dedicate to the society. I’m quite a quiet person but that means I’m a great listener and I’d be more than happy to listen to your questions, ideas, suggestions and complaints (if you have any!).

•I aim to be friendly, helpful and approachable, and get to know as many of you as I can.
•I will support my fellow committee members with any society problems, and I’ll try my best to help any of you, if you have problems of your own.
•I hope to introduce more chilled socials and experiences like going to coffee shops or on beach walks or charity shopping.
•I’d also love to do more fundraisers for charities.
 
I’d love for you guys to be just as involved as me, with any ideas for guests, talks or volunteering experiences you want to know more about and I hope to be able to make many of these happen.

When? - Thursdays at 7pm

Where? - MALT (Main Arts Lecture Theatre)

Who? - Check our socials for the latest or ask a committee member
