Looking for adventure on the water and a great group of people to share it with? The Bangor University Canoe Club is open to everyone — from complete beginners to seasoned paddlers. We run regular pool sessions to build confidence and skills in a safe environment, plus river trips across North Wales and beyond where you can put those skills into action.

Our members enjoy everything from white-water kayaking and canoeing to social events on dry land, so there’s always something going on. We provide all the equipment you’ll need, along with training and support from experienced paddlers, making it easy to get involved no matter your level.

We’re also committed to making canoeing as accessible as possible. Whether you have specific access needs, want to go at your own pace, or just need some extra support, our friendly committee and coaches will do their best to make sure you feel comfortable and included.

If you’re up for adventure, making friends, and exploring some of the most beautiful waterways in the UK, come and give canoe club a try!
