Hi all! I’m Harry, and I’m your President at Undeb Bangor. 

I’ve just graduated with a BSc in Computer Science with Games Design. However, my time in Bangor has also included serving as a course rep, student ambassador, peer guide, committee member for 3 years in BUGL as Social Media Sec, then Secretary then Esports Secretary, and 2 years of playing Darts for the BUDC with a year as Social Media Sec there, having been involved with both in my 4 years in Bangor. 
In my free time, my main hobbies are sports and gaming. You’d struggle to find a sport I don’t have an interest in any way, but the main ones are Darts, Football, Golf, Motorsport, Rugby and American Football. Fun fact: before University I played Mario Kart Wii professionally, any other game I’m awful at. I much prefer casual games than competitive ones. 
As an officer team, we have 3 main areas of focus: Making it easier to find your people, treating students as partners, and protecting and promoting the Welsh language and culture. 
We want students to be able to find their people easier. This would mostly be through the union, but would have university involvement as well. Students are partners in their education, and we want the University to reflect that. Major decisions should have students involved from the start, not jut at the end. The Welsh language and culture is beautiful, and the area is perfect to making that thrive. We want to ensure that it gets the celebration it deserves and isn’t seen as an afterthought. 
I also am a big fan of accessibility for students, as it is my belief that all students should be given the proper information so their university experience isn’t impeded by any physical or mental conditions.
