Buy your Athletic Union Membership
We offer two types of Annual Sports Passes depending on how you would like to get involved:
Silver Annual Pass
The Silver Pass is ideal for students who want to train, stay active, and participate recreationally within Bangor’s sports clubs. This membership allows you to attend training sessions, take part in club activities, and enjoy the social side of sport at Bangor.
Gold Annual Pass
The Gold Pass includes everything within the Silver Pass, while also giving students eligibility to represent Bangor in official BUCS (British Universities & Colleges Sport) competitions and fixtures.
Please note that participation in certain clubs, including Rowing and Sub Aqua, requires a Gold Pass due to the nature of their activities and competition requirements.
Once you have purchased your Annual Sports Pass, you are free to join any affiliated sports club without paying any additional membership fees.

Collect Your Membership Sticker
After purchasing your Sports Pass, please visit the Students’ Union on the 4th Floor of Pontio to collect your membership sticker. This sticker confirms your membership for the academic year and may be required when attending club activities, training sessions, or competitions.
