About Us
Bangor University Music Society (more commonly known as MuSoc) is a non-auditioned, student-run society open to musicians of all abilities!
Playing a variety of repertoire from classical pieces to film scores and medleys, our orchestra, choir and brass band aim to provide a welcoming space where students can have fun and make music.
We have several concerts throughout the year to showcase and celebrate the hard work of our members. Our brass band also provides the opportunity for students to compete on a national level at competitions such as UniBrass where we came 3rd in our section in 2026!
Training times:
Orchestra: Tuesday, PJ Hall 19:30-21:30
Brass Band: Wednesday, Mathias 18:00–20:00
Choir: Mathias 19:30–21:30
