Work with us!
Bangor University Mountaineering Society (BUMS) was established in 1970 and is a thriving community dedicated to all things climbing and mountaineering related.
We pride ourselves on being a welcoming and friendly society that caters to complete beginners all the way through to experienced wads, with indoor sessions run every week and outdoor trips when we can.
Bangor itself is situated in one of the best locations in the world for climbing, being just 15 minutes from Snowdonia national park as well as a plethora of other fantastic climbing venues. This gives members of BUMS a unique and exciting university experience, alongside access to some of the worlds best rock climbing!
Tuesday 6pm-10pm: Indy Climbing Wall, Llanfairpwllgwyngyll.
Friday 6pm-10pm: Beacon Climbing Centre, Caernarfon.
