Description

Japanese society is held Twice a week for two hours in order to get to know the Japanese language and culture. At Bangor University, we have about 20 Japanese students on average each year. Japanese students are invited to rediscover their own culture from a different perspective and non-Japanese students can enjoy experiencing Japanese culture through our weekly society and events such as Japanese food night, tea ceremony, Karaoke nights and other fun! We invite you to join us learning and having fun by experiencing a taste of Japanese culture at Bangor University! Please join us!! We will also have a social afterwards where we go to a pub, chat, and have a pint!

Thanks for purchasing your Access Pass and/or joining a group.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Your Access Pass gives you membership to as many student clubs and societies as you like – depending on the type of Pass you’ve bought (Silver, Gold or Societies).
  • It helps cover the cost of insurance, training, bookings, facilities, and other support so student groups can run safely and successfully.
  • Your Pass is valid until 31 July of the academic year you purchased it (unless you’ve purchased a January Student Finisher version).
  • By taking part in Undeb Bangor affiliated group activity, you accept that you do so at your own risk and agree to follow the rules of the activity, any activity-specific instructions, and the health and safety measures outlined in the group’s risk assessment and by group leaders.
  • The Pass is just for you – it can’t be shared or transferred.
  • You’ll need to collect a sticker from the Students’ Union to attach to your student card as proof of purchase.
  • Refunds are only available within 14 days of purchase if you haven’t used the Pass yet.
  • By taking part, you agree to follow the Undeb Bangor Code of Conduct and group-specific rules.
