What is the Queer Space:

The Queer Space is an on-campus area where members of the LQBTQ+ community and allies can go to feel safe and welcome. Whether it’s to study, meet with friends or make a ‘panad’ between lectures, it is always open to those who want to find a place where they feel comfortable to be themselves.

Why does it exist?:

Every student has the right to feel welcome and comfortable on campus, and that they can find their people in an environment where they are not afraid to express who they are.

Beth ydi’r Lle Ge:

Mae’r Lle Ge yn ardal ar y campws lle mae croeso i aelodau o’r gymuned LHDTC+ a’u cefnogwyr fynd iddo i deimlo’n saff. P’un ai’ch bod chi’n astudio, cyfarfod efo ffrindiau neu eisiau gwneud panad rhwng darlithoedd, mae wastad ar agor i’r rheiny sydd eisiau cael lle i deimlo’n gyfforddus i fod yn nhw eu hunain.

Pam ei fod yn bodoli?:

Mae gan bob myfyriwr yr hawl i deimlo’n gyfforddus ac wedi eu croesawu ar y campws, ac y gallant ffeindio eu pobl mewn amgylchedd lle dydyn nhw ddim ofn mynegi ac arddangos pwy ydyn nhw.
