GoFairtrade! Deliver fun presentations in primary schools and raise awareness of Fairtrade

We're looking for some more volunteers to help with our project!

Go Fairtrade is a campaign project aiming to raise awareness about Fairtrade and help support small-scale farmers in developing countries. We deliver fun and creative presentations in primary schools around North Wales. Although these primary schools are both Welsh and English speaking, speaking Welsh is NOT essential to join this project as our sessions are delivered in English as not all of our volunteers are Welsh speaking.

We begin sessions with a powerpoint presentation although it is not mandatory for you to speak during this if you're not comfortable with it and we try and include the children by asking them questions during the presentation and answer any questions they may have. Next is a short video for them to watch then they create a Fairtrade poster in small groups allowing us to walk around and talk to them more about Fairtrade and answer more questions then finish with a short multi answer quiz.

This project would be suitable for people wanting experience working with children, anyone wanting to help raise awareness for fairtrade, looking to become more confidence with public peaking or people who generally want to volunteer to do some good!
