BMTS (Bangor Musical Theatre Society) is Prifysgol Bangor University’s only Musical Theatre society with one simple goal – every year we aim to create shows that every single person involved with can be extremely proud of and to have as much fun as possible along the way. Whether you’re a huge fan of Musical Theatre or just interested in getting involved and trying something new - BMTS is open to anyone!

This year (2025/26), we will be performing our Pantomine, in JP Hall on the 12th and 13th of December!

We will also be producing and performing a spring musical which will be voted on by the society, more details to follow!

We rehearse twice a week, on Thursday and Sunday evenings 6-9pm, and provide a fun, friendly and inclsuive environment for all of our members.

There is something for everyone in this society whether it be Singing, Dancing, Acting, Directing helping backstage on Tech, Set or Costume Design, or even watching our shows.

We put on 3 shows a year which usually form a Winter Pantomime, a full on Main Musical in the springtime, and a Summer Cabaret with many musical numbers and lots of fun!
