"Being nominated for the Student Leader of the Year award from over 420 nominations from 120 institutions as a finalist, was a profound honour, and I am sincerely grateful for the recognition. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Undeb Bangor for their consistent support over the past two years, as well as for enabling my attendance at the ceremony. This nomination reflects not only my own efforts, but also the dedication and collaboration of the many colleagues with whom I have had the privilege to work. The evening was an excellent celebration of achievement across the sector, and I was proud to be part of it. I also wish to offer my warmest congratulations to Marcel on receiving the Staff Member of the Year award, an accolade he thoroughly deserves, and a testament to his exceptional contribution to Bangor University."
