Welcome to the Herpetological Society!
⚲ PL2, Pontio - EVERY Monday 19:00-20:00
We are a society open to anyone interested in the branch of reptiles and amphibians. We host talks throughout the year featuring a variety of guest speakers who cover topics ranging from taxonomy and genetics to conservation and captive husbandry. We put on handling events, where you will have the chance to see and maybe handle some lizards, frogs, geckos, and snakes... if you dare.
Alongside our exciting talks, we run a lot of trips! Whether that be to a zoo, museum, or a local field site to look for our native species of herps. These pale in comparison to our annual international expedition! Facilitated by our sponsor, Captive and Field Herpetology, you'll get the opportunity to travel abroad to find some exotic species yourself! 2025/26 expedition to: Corfu AND Türkiye (our first ever dual-location trip!)
We look forward to seeing your friendly faces at our next event! :)
