This year’s for BSSCR’s Annual Ringing Outing, we’ll be travelling up to the Lake District for a weekend of ringing in Cumbria. We will depart Bangor for Kendal in the afternoon on Friday, 29th May 2026, but stopping at Preston Minster (12 bells, 17.25 cwt) for some general ringing on our way up North. On Saturday, there will be general ringing at Bowness-on-Windermere (8 bells, 11.5 cwt), Hawkshead (8 bells, 7.75 cwt), Ambleside (8 bells, 32.5 cwt), and Kendal (10 bells, 23.75 cwt). In the evening, a meal out has been arranged (see event pack for pre-order information). On Sunday, after service ringing in Kendal, we will depart back to Bangor via Scorton (8 bells, 18 cwt) for some last general ringing. This is optionally followed by some potential QPs. 

A scout hall in Kendal has been booked for cheap accommodation, and for current students, an Undeb MPV is available for transport.
