Why Volunteer

There are plenty of reasons why you should volunteer. For some people it gives the opportuniity to give something back to the community, for others it provides a unique chance to gain valuable experience ready for when you graduate from Bangor University. But the main reason why people volunteer is because you will really enjoy your time as part of our ever expanding volunteer community.

All of our projects are student led. this means that you the student, have the opportunity of moulding the project you volunteer on, whilst developing your skills in the community. Bangor University prides itself on making our students as employable as possible when you graduate and therefore SVB echos this vision. And what better way to set yourself apart from the rest of your peers by getting involved in our fantastic projects!

Who do we work with?
