Mental Health is still a taboo topic and yet it affects a large majority of students. The Students union has been taking action to challenge the myths and misconceptions, encourage discussion and to develop a better support system. The aim this year is to break down any barriers to accessing the necessary support. There are many campaigns throughout the year to ensure your mental health is a priority, from Blue Monday to the Canine Calming Room alongside the University's Mental Health and Wellbeing Day.

This year, I hope to work with students on further support and creating a safe space within the university.

Every week in UNDEB, we have a mental health drop in session if you wish to talk to a mental health advisor, please drop by if you have any kind of question or concern.

October 10-14 is Mind your Head week in Undeb Banfor
