CANDIDATES FOR PRESIDENT

1. SOHAIB NOON

This year has been my first in Bangor but the next would be my last as I transferred here into my second year. In my first year at uni, I was both the president of sports and my class representative so I believe I have the required leadership skills to lead the society forward and build on the tireless hard work of my predecessors, which I have been fortunate enough to closely observe by being a very active member of the Pakistan society this year, also becoming the star member in the process. I believe that in a foreign country there should be a bond of comradery and companionship between people of the same country so that would be my main priority with amongst the members of the Pakistan society but not limited only to them, as in order to have a fruitful university experience I think the strong emphasis should be placed on embracing one’s surroundings and people. These are just few of my ideas and also I believe that there would be a lot for me learn from my fellow committee members and due to my adaptability I think that would also be an asset that I would use.  These amongst other things are the reasons why I would make a good president to lead this society forward.

CANDIDATES FOR SECRETARY

1. MONEEB UR REHMAN

I think I am suitable for this position because being an international student at Bangor University I have experienced a lot of daily life problems which I personally think we can improve. Talking about the society we should be there for all the other members/students who come from our home Country. Moreover, voicing an issue for other people is a responsibility I am willing to take. Since, I am a student representative, peer guide and an international ambassador for Bangor University which will allow me to voice problems/issues to the administration of the University.
I have been a part of many events during my time in college and school, which enables an individual to deal with problems efficiently. Moreover, analysing a situation and providing a solution to a problem is very important. it is a skill I have developed over the years.

CANDIDATES FOR TREASURER

1. LAIBA IMTIAZ

I have done similar roles at my previous university and looking forward to continuing doing for Pakistani Society As well.

CANDIDATES FOR EVENT ORGANISER

1. ABDULLAH

I've been organizing events for my college and I have certifications for that I organized three events every year which consisted of a concert , rave/DJ night and a formal theme dinner sometimes matches and sports events so I am pretty good at it I've done it in Chicago too for the University of Valparaiso.

CANDIDATES FOR VICE-PRESIDENT

1. EPHRUN SARDAR

Vice President's is often considered an easy option on committee, but I'll try to make use of it as best I could. It involves always being available to your President, communicating/organizing committee as a whole all year, making events all year round for PSB as a society. It's quite a free committee role that you can adjust to suit your President and committee, play it by ear and be on hand to help all year and you'll be fine.
