The Big Election 2017 Candidates Question Time

The Big Election 2017 Candidate Questions Time took place last night which gave the opportunity for Students to ask candidates about their manifestos, promises and aims if they were to get into office.

Over 100 students turned up to quiz the candidates, creating friendly debate and allowing candidates to outline why they should get your vote.

Student Union Vice President Rebecca Kent commented

“It was great to see so many students engaging in one of the highlights of the Sabbatical Officer Election season. The questions were acute and pressing and really put the candidates through their paces on current issues affecting students here at Bangor.”

She added,

“I was mostly impressed with the answers given and I still think it’s all to play for. I’m looking forward to seeing who our new Sabbatical Officer Team for 2017/18 will be come results evening on the 10th March.”

With campaigning well underway, don’t forget you can read each candidates manifesto here – www.undebbangor.com/elections

Voting opens online at 00:00 on Wednesday 8th March and closes on Friday 10th March at 14:00, so don’t forget to cast your vote and MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN at www.undebbangor.com/elections
