BEDS is an inclusive society for people interested in all aspects of theatre and acting. We put on two main shows each year and run extra projects alongside them to ensure that all our members get plenty of chances to act, direct and work backstage. Additionally, we offer annual tech training to give members the ability to work on lighting, sound design, and backstage.

BEDS enjoys a diverse range of productions and positions, meaning that there is always room to accommodate new members in whatever way they want to get involved! We focus especially on developing a fun and friendly dynamic between members through regular social events and activities outside of society time, including making an effort to support each other in personal projects too. We also proudly promote gender-blind and supervised casting, meaning any member can audition for any role they want in a fair and safe atmosphere.
